I hope I'm not alone in feeling overwhelmed by what turns out to be such small projects. I have to admit though that crossing this off my to-do list and clearing it from my project bin was so satisfying. It feels great to finally finish something you've been procrastinating on. It also made me feel a little silly when I realized how quickly I was able to complete it.

I have been hoarding bows that have seen better days for years. My goal was to reuse the clips, headbands, and if possible some of the ribbons. I wanted to update my daughters bow collection with what she currently wasn't using and turn them into bows she'd adore again.

It was relatively simple to update the headbands. I wrapped ribbon around it and strategically placed some hot glue to keep it together. I was also able to repurpose the bow from a stretchy headband my daughter outgrew when she was about two and glue it onto a headband needing a new focal point.

The bows were trial and error for me. The first one I was heavy handed on the hot glue. After that, I decided to pull out a needle and thread and use the hot glue more sparingly.

I think they all turned out adorable. I'm not convinced that the actual clip parts of most of the bows will hold up for much longer. For how old they actually are I'm impressed that they're still working well though. I'll use them until I can't and then replace them for sturdier clips as needed.
