January 19th 2020: Mani/Pedi

I originally planned on going to a salon and getting a mani/pedi by someone who knows what they're doing and does it well. Unfortunately, I cut into my thumb all the way through my nail and wasn't will to pay for any nail service while in pain. Been there, done that for my wedding after a cat at work went crazy and tried to eat me. Same damn thumb too if my memory is correct. I do still plan on going to a salon in the future, but I settled for my ratchet salon instead, btw that's a nod to Jenna Marbles, if you live under a rock.

Of course I included my little side kick, we soaked our hands in warm water and vitamin e oil, buffed, trimmed, prepped, polished. The works. She picked out some cute press on nails and I remembered I had Jamberrys, so I applied them very badly in true ratchet fashion. Our piggy's got pampered then just got nail polish, no fancy extras. Finished off with vitamin e massages and called it a day! Just kidding, my daughter insisted that our spa day include face masks and cucumbers on our eyes, so it did.
