January 22nd 2020: Cuddle

Once again, I'm going out of order. I would have loved to go thrifting today, but my daughter is now sick. In good conscious, I couldn't leave her home, take her to daycare, or take her shopping. Plus she has been sleeping like a teething/gassy infant for the past few nights, which if you've experienced this, you know it's awful. Btw, she's not teething but gassy is still up for debate. She's mostly just a miserably sick 4 year old during the wee hours of the night and a zoo animal with excessive boogers for the rest of the time. I have also been up all night with her, rubbing vicks on feetsies, petting her hair, and hoping she'll fall asleep for longer than 15 minutes this time.

Alas, the topic of the day. We cuddled, we watched her silly YouTube videos she's currently into. I learned where she got her new obsession for making "Girls Only" and "No Boys Allowed" signs, totally cute.

We both needed a lazy day-- or atleast a lazy hour or so. It just goes to show that when life throws a curveball you either gotta jump out of the way or swing with all you've got. I don't think that's a real saying, it sounded good though, yeah? It's also irrelevant because my curveball made me lay down and squeeze my mini for a while. I'll take that any day. Am I making sense?... I think I need sleep. Send help. 🤣
