January 24th 2020: Go thrifting

Who has two thumbs and absolutely adores thrifting, this girl! It makes my soul happy. Combining both my love of saving money and my passion for doing my part in helping the environment. Plus, I will never feel bad about spending a tiny fraction of what I would have if I bought these things new. Ugh, I just love it. Anyways, here's my haul for the day.

I found my daughter a jacket, two long-sleeved shirts, a short-sleeved shirt, and super soft pajama pants. For my son I found a hulk t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of pants in a style he's never tried before (fail-- he hated them.) I found myself a cute sweater and some white converses.

I scored some cute cardstock paper for crafts and such, a lot of different patterns and textures to play with.

This nightstand for my daughter's room that I was clearly very eager to paint. It was the pale orangey wood color that I'm personally not a fan of.

I also found these signs for her room. If you haven't already noticed- it needed a little redecorating. She was thrilled about it and of course kept me company as I painted it. She even helped me bring the drawer back inside.

I got all this for a little over $70. That number still makes me cringe, but then I remember how much these individually retail for-- and I feel better. 👌
