January 27th 2020: Meditate longer

I try to meditate and practice mindfulness throughout the day, every day. However, I don't usually make time to meditate the way you would think, sitting- focusing on breathing. I get too bored doing it that way, I've tried, but I made time for it today. Sat inside and breathed, got distracted by too many thoughts coming and going, noises, etc. So I went outside, which is nice anyways, I was able to focus more. My daughter and dogs were playing but it was peaceful. I got called over to look at worms a few more times than necessary, and had some fun taking pictures of me "meditating". I followed this up with a nice walk around the neighborhood, which was also peaceful.
