For me, waking up and being ready before 6 am is generally not done by choice. I have woken up many times before then, but I like to stay warm and cozy in bed until closer to 7am. However, last week I made it a point to be out of bed and preferably dressed by 6 am, so I woke up around 5:30-5:45am. I didn't hate it, my days felt longer and more productive. I had some peaceful me-time before the sun and everyone was up, which is always refreshing. I didn't know what to do with myself some mornings, so I'd just sit and stare at the day's schedule until I remembered I should take advantage of my headstart. I'm not sure if that was due to my ADHD or just my brain refusing to function that early. I was able to read a couple chapters of this book that is taking me longer than I'd like to finish, despite it being really good. After the "challenge" was finished, I didn't set my alarm for as early, but I think I might still do it occasionally. I liked the productive feeling and finishing my daily tasks before 9am gave me so much free time, free time I didn't spend wisely most days, but still!
